All the talk is: “Low Inventory”
But as we see in the four main counties of the Capital Region, inventory isn’t really lacking at all. That is, when talking about the real estate data we cover.
When you hear about the local real estate market, most are quoting 11 counties here in Upstate NY.
Not only that, but New Construction data, is also included in the averages.
We concentrate on Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady and Saratoga counties only.
We also exclude new construction data, as that will skew our averages.
Albany County Real Estate
Inventory isn’t all that different compared to last year.
And over the past decade or so, homes for sale in Albany County have risen steadily, since the “crisis” of 2007.
